This section focuses on how a FAST admin is able to assign open requests, unassign assigned requests, and search closed/archived FAST requests. This is managed by the three admin functions:

  • Unassign Request(s)
  • Assign Request(s)
  • Archived Request(s)

These types of requests are from the Assistance, WFM, and ShiftSwap modules.

Active requests are open requests from the Assistance, WFM, and ShiftSwap modules.

An assigned request is a request that has been assigned to a user. Follow these steps to unassign an assigned request.
  1. Go to Admin > Unassign Request(s).

  2. Select relevant date range then click the Search button.

  3. Tick the check boxes to select the requests that you want to unassign then click the Unassign button.

Note: You also have the option to select single, multiple, or all requests.

The selected request has been unassigned.

An open fast request is a request that has been created by a user that hasn't been assigned. Follow these steps to assign a request:
  1. Go to Admin > Assign Request(s)

  2. Select relevant date range then click the Search button.

  3. Tick the checkbox to select the requests that you want to assign to another user.

Note: You also have the option to select single, multiple, or all requests.

  4. Select the user from drop-down menu then click the Assign button.

The request is now assigned to the selected user.

All closed requests are saved in the Archived Requests module. To search for these requests, take the following steps:

  1. Go to Admin > Archived Request(s).

  2. Select relevant date range then click the Search button.

  3. The archived requests for the date range selected shall be displayed.

Note: You can search for a specific request by typing a string in the Search field. This action will display requests matching the search criteria. For example, by typing ‘assistance’ in the Search field will display requests matching assistance within the specified date range. Similarly, you can use other search criteria such as: Request status, Type of request, Requested by, Accepted by, Date created, or Request status.
